Lake Titicaca Border Mission

The Lake Titicaca Border Mission began in 2009 as a covenant between La Iglesia Metodista Evangélica de Bolivia, La Iglesia Metodista de Perú and The First United Methodist Church of Boise, Idaho.

The four main goals that have been identified to support the communities and Methodist Churches surrounding Lake Titicaca are:

1. Evangelization: Growth of Methodist Churches and their services.
2. Training: Training of local pastors and lay pastors
3. Exchanges: Exchanges between the churches and communities of Perú, Bolivia and Boise, Idaho.
4. Health: Sustainable assistance with a focus on education and prevention.
